Web1 has a happier atmosphere and doesn't take itself too serious, while 2 has an overall grim setting but with humor everywhere. 1 has more rng based combat, which makes 2's combat less frustrating. They're both extremely enjoyable games, if you play 1 obviously play the Enhanced Edition. WebNot saying that this isn't the case this time around. But Divinity Original Sin 2 is in my opinion a better game in every aspect. For me D:OS1 EE > D:OS2 > D:OS1. I believe, D:OS2 will eventually become superior, once they release the final patch fixing all bugs and improving gameplay.
