WebJul 14, 2007 · I have a 1962 Pontiac Catalina with a 283. I changed the powerglide to a th350. Once installed, the dipstick tube seems too long. If the dipstick is in the tube, it would almost touch the underside of the hood when closed. What would be the correct tube length for that car?
