While light on jump scares (only two or three scenes were genuinely frightening) The Crazies packs in lots of gore, primarily in one memorable scene involving a bone saw, and another with a pitchfork, as well as lots of shots of rotting corpses. I definitely would not recommend this movie for those who are squeamish.
